Jewish life at Swarthmore is both vibrant and diverse and offers all Jews the opportunity to engage with their tradition in a meaningful way. The community strives to create religious, social justice, cultural, musical, intellectual, and social avenues through which Jewish students are able to connect with their Judaism and come together in community.

Every semester, one of the three trico colleges come together and spend a shabbat together. This semester, it was Swarthmore’s turn and we had record-breaking turnout. Upwards of 30 people came together for a great shabbat and a fun dinner after. Thank you Bryn Mawr Hillel and Haverford Jewish Student Union for helping make our shabbat so joyous!

As part of Sukot, our Jewish Student Advisor and Rabbi, Rabbi Ramberg is running a series of interactive workshops on Jewish practices to cultivate compassion for self and others. All are welcome, no prior knowledge required.
